This grade material Grade 5 (TI6AL4V) is a kind of α-β alloy which is the earliest developed and most widely used alloy. The production output is over half part of the total output in world various alloy semi-products, and over 80% of that is aerospace applications. Room strength and thermal performance of this alloy has been strengthened by solution α phase , and Vanadium element is able to restrain the formation of α2 ultra structure phase. This will avoid this alloy tendering in long term use.
Semi-products of this alloy is : bar, forgings, sheet, block ,profiles and wires etc. This alloy will be used in annealed condition,and also solution treated condition. But solution treated surface better less than 25-30mm, so it will be not suitable for high thickness part. And this plate is as per ASTMB381 forged process.
Titanium forgings by YIXIN Titanium are known as ‘Sponge only,no scrap material ’ since the application by its end user--Subsea, Oil& Gas, Aerospace,Military and Medical industries. It has high requirment for the material itself ,process control and traceabilities.This Ti-Mo-Ni alloy material is good for its corrosion resisitance.It produced as per client drawings.
